High-Temperature Metal Powders: Grades & Applications
High-temperature alloy powders are mainly divided into three matrix categories: nickel-based (most widely used), cobalt-based (high-temperature wear & corrosion resistant), and iron-based (cost-effective for moderate temperature service). There are also refractory metal powders for ultra-high temperature service. Chinese grades start with the prefix GH, while international trade commonly uses Inconel, Hastelloy, Stellite, René series designations.
